Or from Peter's Peak you could go in the other direction to Eagle Rock, where we could stop at the big rock shelter that Sonny mentioned. <br /><br />I lived on Cedar Street across from the Catholic Church, and we usually went up past the football field then past the water tank to Big Rock. My name may still be visible on that rock. I scratched it in pretty deep. I now live in Tennessee, but I spent the "war years" in Hazard. Actually, we moved there in 1939 when I was six and left in 1948.
